My Personal Experience

I once worked in a team that achieved results — but at a cost. The atmosphere was filled with humiliation, harsh criticism, and sometimes offensive remarks. Yes, the goals were met, but the environment stripped away confidence instead of building it.

From that season, I learned two lessons I carry forward:
1️⃣ My worth is not determined by what others say about me.
2️⃣ Sometimes, the only way to work in an environment of trust is by leaving. Leaders will only adjust their style if they want to. If I’m not valued where I am, it’s time to find a place where I will be.
